The Band
The Bar Chords have been around for roughly ten years or so, with members coming and going. These are our current members.
Frank Reaney – Bass, Vocals – Frank has been around music from a very early age and started playing in bands at the age of 16 and hasn’t stopped yet. He has played in bands all over the country in various styles of music, in fact Frank has been playing Classic Rock covers since they were in the top 40 on the radio.
Mike Greene – Electric and Acoustic Guitars, Harmonica, Vocals – Mike has been playing guitar for more years than he cares to think about. Mike joined the Bar Chords in March of 2015. He has played with several bands, including “Something with Digby”, Citizen Hobo, and “Tell Me Another One”. Mike is a master of harmony, and with a 3+ octave range, you’ll hear him singing either lead or backup vocals on almost every song The Bar Chords plays.
Rick DeLuca – Drums – Rick has been involved with music since the ripe old age of 16, both as a drummer and Mobile DJ. Rick has jumped in full time with both feet while splitting his time between The Bar Chords maintaining two other full-time bands, The Unusual Suspects and The Stumpy Joe Band.
Alex Mecherkany – Vocals and Percussion – Alex started singing in her church in 2019 because she was …” blown away by peoples’ ability to make sound/music and wanted to be in that world.” Singing with the Bar Chords is her first foray into the world of singing with a live band, and we’re glad to have her performing with us.
Mike Iadonisi – Lead Guitar, Vocals – Mike started his musical journey on his 12th birthday when his father gave him a guitar and amplifier he purchased for $12. Mike has played in many cover bands including a Scorpions tribute band starting in his teens, with dreams of becoming a studio musician. Mike studied at Berklee and the UMass music programs and is influenced by many musical styles from Pop to Rock, country, Blues and Jazz. Mike is excited to continue his musical career with The Bar Chords.
